
Practice Update – April 2021
With a new tax year has upon us we would like to take this opportunity to update you all with some exciting changes within the Adderley, Hill & Co Team.
The team will be back in the office full time as of Monday 19 April 2021. We hope this will provide you all with a smoother service in regards to dropping off and collecting your records.
Following government guidelines we will be continuing to hold meetings via Zoom where possible, for the time being. If you would like to discuss this please call the office and as always, we will do our best to assist.
TEAM CHANGES
Paula
We are excited to announce that Paula, our Bookkeeper and Junior Accountant, is expecting a baby in June 2021. Paula will be leaving us to go on maternity leave on 14 May 2021 and I’m sure you all join us in wishing her a safe arrival of the little one, whom we look forward to meeting.

Katie Hughes
Katie Hughes, our Payroll Manager, has worked extremely hard through-out the global pandemic assisting many of our clients with the Furlough scheme and we are therefore delighted to announce her new role as Office Manager from 1st April 2021. Katie will still be involved in Payroll, however will be working alongside Stephen, managing internal deadlines and supporting with the day to day running of Adderley, Hill & Co.
Kate Tynan
Kate Tynan, one of our Office Administrators, has been in training through-out the last few months working alongside Katie in our payroll services. Kate’s new role is Payroll Administrator and will be now assisting Katie Hughes with Payroll going forward.
NEW VAT RETURN PROCESS
As you will know we have recently altered our VAT Return policy to improve our ability to meet the deadlines and allow us a little more time to put right any errors. Any client whom we complete VAT returns and VAT submissions for, will have received a copy in the post. You will be able to find details of our new VAT Return policy on our website in the coming days.
With all that being said, business continues as normal and we look forward to receiving any personal tax return records in due course now the year end has passed for the 2020-21 tax year.
